The GDSN is the world’s largest product data network. It provides a central place for brands to synchronize and exchange data across their supply chain in real time, rather than manually sharing information with trading partners on a one-to-one basis.
GDSN consists of various GS1-certified data pools. GS1 is a global standards organization responsible for barcodes and other product identifiers that create a common business language across industries such as retail, logistics, and more. GS1 certification indicates that the data pools within the GDSN meet high standards for interoperability, data quality, and security.
The GDSN currently includes more than 50 GS1-certified data pools. Each data pool syncs with specific attributes that each brand and retailer defines, ensuring data quality and accuracy. Feedback IQ makes troubleshooting GDSN catalog item confirmation (CIC) feedback easier and faster, and automates attribute identification and linking.
