    Acceleration and Expansion: Announcing our $43 Million Series D Funding

    Today we announced that we have closed on a $43 Million Series D funding round. We’re incredibly grateful for the conviction from Greenspring Associates and our existing investors. All of these firms see fantastic investment opportunities every day, and knowing they’ve decided to bet on this team and this market is wonderful corroboration that we’re on the right track.

    But none of that happens if it weren’t for the trust that all of you have put in us.  We’re fortunate that you gave us a chance when you came onboard as a customer, and we know how critical it is that we enable the digital transformations that brand manufacturers like you are living through.  There are well over 200 people here that come in every day focused on making those transformations successful, and we’re excited that the funding is going to help us on so many fronts:

    • More product capabilities: we are further increasing our investment in R&D to intensify and broaden our ability to drive commerce results for brand manufacturers.
    • Global reach: we will be investing heavily to make sure we can support the needs of customers worldwide, particularly support and services.
    • Partner ecosystem: commerce success is a team effort, and we will be building out the programs to connect and enable partners that complement and strengthen the impact of Salsify.
    • Education and community: we owe it to our customers - you - to enable you to use Salsify to its greatest potential, and to connect you with each other to create a massive shared brain of commerce experience.

    Importantly, the funding demonstrates our belief in the fun road ahead of us and our desire to build for the long haul.  Our product today only scratches the surface of what we think is possible - we see so much potential to transform the way that brand manufacturers engage with their customers, on the digital shelf and beyond.  We sincerely appreciate the chance to continue that journey with you!
