The following definitions and entitlements shall apply if, and to the extent, licensed by Customer on an Order Form:
Open Catalog Premium
Salsify’s Open Catalog Premium provides the Customer with the baseline level of capabilities for onboarding supplier data.
Open Catalog Premium: Recipient Portal
Open Catalog Premium: Recipient Portal includes these key capabilities and entitlements:
- Onboard Supplier data
- Supplier Onboarding Portal: free of use for any suppliers to upload, manage, and share product content
- Receive product content per a mutually agreed data model from licensed Salsify supplier customers through a dedicated syndication channel
- Validation of supplier product content through pre-configured category rules
- Record and Digital Asset management
- Export, storage, and display of product records and digital assets
- Search & filter
- Find products and assets through free text search and complex search filters across a combination of properties
- Exports
- Access to Salsify’s exports for use of automation and integration with Customer’s downstream systems
- Security
- User and group permissions enabling administrators to control which Open Catalog Premium features are available to which users and groups
- Administration
- User administration / management console
- Entitlements
- Up to 20 Users
- 1 Supplier Onboarding Portal
Open Catalog Premium Add-ons
Enhanced Content: Private Label
Solution for building and publishing Customer’s Private Label enhanced content layouts to Customer’s own digital shelf endpoint(s). Enhanced content is also referred to as below-the-fold content, A+ content, or rich media.
- Use the Salsify Enhanced Content Experience Builder to customize content layouts or leverage prebuilt templates to publish Customer’s Private Label content to Customer’s own digital shelf endpoint(s)
- Use multimedia elements such as video, image galleries, comparison charts, feature tours, and more to showcase product features and create more engaging product experiences
- Entitlements
- Enhanced Content for Private Label entitles a Customer to publish Enhanced Content to Customer’s own digital shelf endpoint(s)
Enhanced Content Software Developer Kit (SDK)
Enhanced Content SDK licenses a retailer with the ability to leverage Salsify's SDK for the purpose of receiving below the fold content from Salsify licensed Suppliers.
Additional Supplier Onboarding Portal
Entitles Customer to an additional Supplier Onboarding Portal. Includes the following entitlements:

Open Catalog Premium General Definitions
Add-ons
Salsify Software Solutions that leverage and run off of Open Catalog Premium to provide Customer with additional features and functionality.
Entitlement
Specific allowances licensed by the customer, tied to functionality within Open Catalog Premium or Add-ons.
Configuration Entitlement
Entitlements with an allowance based on the configuration of Open Catalog Premium or Add-ons. Customer’s actual configuration cannot exceed the amount of the Configuration Entitlement licensed.
Open Catalog Premium Entitlement Definitions
Enhanced Content Digital Shelf Endpoint(s)
A distinct shopper destination (as defined by a unique domain name), owned and operated by the Customer, that is the target of below-the-fold enhanced content publication.
Enhanced Content Digital Shelf Endpoint is a Configuration Entitlement.
Supplier Onboarding Portal
A Salsify portal available for use by Customer’s suppliers who do not have a Salsify license. Each of Customer’s suppliers can create a free account for Salsify’s portal platform, through which they can upload, manage, and publish product data to Customer. There is no limit to how many suppliers can use the Onboarding Portal.
Each Supplier Onboarding Portal supports 1 Target Market.
Supplier Onboarding Portal is a Configuration Entitlement.
Support for the Supplier Onboarding Portal is specified within the Salsify SXM Support Availability Policy.
Target Market
A Target Market is a distinct country (e.g., United States, France, Canada) for which product content will be onboarded from suppliers.
Target Market is a Configuration Entitlement.
User
User means each of Customer’s employees, agents, and independent contractors who are authorized with access to Open Catalog Premium.
Each User’s license is intended solely for such User and cannot be shared or used by any other individual, provided that it may be reassigned to a new User replacing the previous User if the previous User terminates its employment with Customer, changes job status or function, or otherwise no longer requires use of Open Catalog Premium.
User is a Configuration Entitlement.
