The Ghirardelli Chocolate Company leverages the Salsify Product Experience Management (PXM) platform to automate and streamline its product information, as well as expedite its go-to-market process — enabling the company to significantly impact its digital shelf success.
Pam Perino, digital commerce content and operations manager at Ghirardelli, shares how her team moved away from relying on spreadsheets and email to now having Salsify as its golden record of product information.

My name is Pam Perino, and I work for Ghirardelli Chocolate Company. I've been with the company for just a little bit over four years, and I am their digital commerce content and operations manager — and the Salsify administrator as well for our company.
Ghirardelli has worked with Salsify since 2019. We were one of the first Lindt and Sprüngli subsidiary companies to implement Salsify.
Salsify has had an amazing impact on our go-to-market processes. Probably number one is really how quickly it's helped us expedite getting our content to our retailers.
Once the content's ready to go in the platform, within a few minutes, for most retailers, we can get it on the website and out.
So it's really helped streamline processes, stopped the passing around of Excel spreadsheets — and emailing and downloading images here and there and uploading them in different platforms.
And it's really helped us, you know, continue to evolve and move at the speed that we need to for a very fast-paced business and industry. So it's been invaluable to us.
Our processes without Salsify would be really very manual and slow. Well, with Salsify, everything lives, it's our source of truth, it's our golden record of product information, and we can very quickly and easily get it into the platform and then provide it to our retailers.
So it's definitely been really an invaluable tool in every way for us.
