Salsify has released Angie, an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered assistant, and Intelligence Suite, a powerful new AI workbench, within its product experience management (PXM) platform to significantly enhance customer efficiency and productivity when using Salsify. Salsify has also launched a new OpenAI channel to help brands power agentic experiences through ChatGPT.

Angie offers quick start actions, like writing a formula from scratch. It also allows you to summarize and optimize formulas or troubleshoot with ease.
For example, if a formula was written by another user, you can ask, “Hey Angie, I don’t understand this formula. Can you explain what it’s doing?”
“From there, it’s really just like a conversation,” says Dylan Si, principal product manager at Salsify. “Keep on responding and giving input until Angie creates the formula that you’re looking for.”
Intelligence Suite is seamlessly integrated into the Salsify workflow engine, providing customers with a powerful new set of intelligent task types.
These task types allow customers to embed AI-powered actions within a workflow and seamlessly integrate them with other automated and human-driven actions. This enables customers to revamp their processes around the use of AI, while still ensuring the governance guardrails and human validation remain in place.
Since Intelligence Suite is model-agnostic, customers have the flexibility to choose which AI providers they want to use, or they can use SalsifyIQ, Salsify’s proprietary AI service purpose-built for commerce.

Salsify also announced the launch of its new OpenAI syndication channel, which will help brands power agentic experiences through ChatGPT using the new Agentic Commerce Protocol. This will provide OpenAI with an authoritative source of product data directly from brands — helping OpenAI accurately surface products in search and shopping experiences.
This new channel uses the OpenAI Product Feed Spec, allowing customers to map and validate their content against OpenAI’s specific content guidelines using a Salsify Readiness Report. This enables customers to provide the foundational product data that will fuel the next era of agentic shopping.
